Leg telangiectasias are small, less than one millimeter in diameter. Reticular veins are a bit bigger, 1- 3mm in diameter but they are slightly deeper under the surface of the skin and they can be obscured. Leg spider veins and blue veins can be very difficult targets to hit. Anything that makes them easier to see will improve accuracy and speed up the injection session.
