Courses Written by An Expert

I have over 30 years' experience of treating patients with leg spider veins and blue veins by Microsclerotherapy. I was the first Vascular Surgeon in the UK to deliver a Microsclerotherapy Training Course that was accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of England over 20 years ago. I have trained countless healthcare professional over the years.

I have run a highly successful multi-specialty private medical clinic for over 20 years, treating patients with vein conditions causing phlebitis, varicose eczema and ulceration as well as cosmetic conditions such as spider veins, facial veins and hand veins.

The Hands-On Training is delivered in collaboration with my longterm friend and vascular colleague, Miss Catharine McGuinness.

Aesthetic Practitioners

As an Aesthetic Doctor, Nurse or Healthcare Professional, you can distinguish yourself from a growing number of competitors by providing advice and treatment for leg spider veins and blue veins. Very few aesthetic clinics have the knowledge and expertise to offer Microsclerotherapy.

However, unsightly leg veins are a very common problem and there is constant demand for their treatment.

Vascular Surgeons, Dermatologists and Radiologists

As a Vascular Surgeon, Dermatologist or Radiologist, you may wish to add the treatment of small leg veins by Microsclerotherapy to the skills that you have. You may already be treating superficial venous reflux by Endothermal Ablation or you may be treating skin conditions such as venous eczema, so it is a natural progression for you to want to learn how to treat telangiectasias and reticular veins.

Microsclerotherapy Training is a Good Investment

Microsclerotherapy training provides an excellent return on your investment. Microsclerotherapy is a skill that requires a detailed and thorough knowledge-base and once you have been given the principles of the injection technique, all you really need to do is to devote sufficient time to practice and to refine this skill.

Unlike investment in equipment which falls in value over time (it is a depreciating asset), investment in Microsclerotherapy Training increases in value over time as you become more skilled and experienced (it is an appreciating asset).  The sooner you invest in good training, the greater the value will be in 2-3 years' time, so do not delay.

Patients with small leg veins represent a considerable lifetime value to your clinic. They may require 2-3 treatment sessions and they often develop more telangiectasias over the years. So if you treat these patients well, they will return. In addition, once they have experienced good results from your treatment, they may show interest in other treatments that you offer. The cost of consumables and pharmacy agents is relatively inexpensive compared to other "aesthetic treatments" and treatment fees range from £150 to £400 per session.

At present, you may have few competitors in your area, but interest in Microsclerotherapy is growing rapidly. Don't get left behind, make the investment now.
